Feet found not Richey's

I assume most of you have already heard of the feet that were found near the Severn Bridge, where Richey was last seen seven years ago. The shoes on he feet were size 8, which Richey uses, and the brand was Diadora. However, the shoes were not made before 2001, so the police have now ruled out that it can be Richey's remains.

Richey

As most people will know by now, Richey was not declared dead on the 7th anniversary of his disappearance. His parents have made an appeal in The Big Issue, to make people aware of the fact that he might be around, and that people should call a phone number if they see him (this number can be found at the Culture Of Destruction site.)

Richey's parents also published one of the last photos of Richey, the one that was intended to be on his passport for the promo trip to America. It can be found here.

Faster

Faster is hailed by Q Magazine as the 33rd most exciting tune ever. Sex Pistols took the first price (God Save the Queen), and for some reason Prodigy was the second best with Firestarter (???!?!!!!??)

You should also check out this month's Mojo, as it has Richey on the cover.

Manics to play Isle Of Wight Festival?

The Isle of Wight Festival will be held this year from June 3rd to the 16th. The organisers are expecting capacity crowds of 20,000.
There will be held a one-day rock event in Seaclose park, and bands like the Strokes, the Charlatans, Pulp, Ash, Stereophonics and the Manics have been asked to play.

Previous headlines include Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan, which means that if the Manics choose to play, they will be the best band in the festival's history.

NICKY WON!!!

Well, he probably was not too happy about this. Nicky actually won the award for worst dressed Welsh male. The award was kindly (?) given by the Welsh newspaper Wales On Sunday. If someone could be as kind as to let me know how they can justify that, please let me know ASAP...

The Welsh 'Brit Awards' has been delayed until January 2002. The reason is that too many Welsh icons & stars are not available on the date first announced.

The site has not been updated for a couple of weeks, due to some sort of error on the tripod database. Sorry about that. I have included a new page called reading, which features the Manics' favourite books and authors. Will also add some new bootlegs next week, and put up the tracklist for some videos which I soon will be able to make copies of again.

Thanks to all of you who have contacted me and given me positive feedback about my work. I really appreciate it!

Site launched. Not much to say about that. Hope someone finds it and give me some sort of response.
